The city is becoming a platform for civic interaction, capturing the imagination of scientists, programmers, economists, designers and artists. This seminar, designed to generate a cohesive, creative and innovative urban language, features an interdisciplinary team of experts from Zurich, New York and Singapore. The Future Resilient City calls for the breakdown of boundaries between genres and disciplines, the establishment of new thinking and doing, and the collaboration of all concerned inhabitants. The arts and the sciences no longer need to reside in their respective Petri dishes.
